Come see Joel Cooper's breathtaking and innovative origami masks. Folded
from single pieces of paper using advanced geometric folding techniques
originally developed in 1960s Japan, called tessellation, these
magnificent masks are reminiscent of classical sculptures from ancient
civilizations and have been exhibited throughout the world.
Joining Joel
will be a second installation featuring Long Island origami artist, Anna
Yu Powell, and painter, Dean Powell's handpainted origami pieces.
Vibrantly colored origami animals will adorn the walls of the Wang Center
